Booking: Cruise parking is booked with CPS, online or through its call centre, before you travel. The Port of Dover does not publish CPS prices.

Electric cars: The port says it does not currently have EV charging in any of its car parks and advises arriving fully charged.

Valet or meet and greet: Cruise and Passenger Services (CPS) runs the official cruise valet at both cruise terminals, with personal meet-and-greet and a car-moving service to a secure, undercover car park in the port.

Private parking firms

Off-site car parks and meet-and-greet firms are private businesses, not part of the port. Many are fine and cheaper, but check before you book: where the car is actually kept, how the transfer works and how often it runs, whether the car park has the Park Mark Safer Parking award, the firm's cancellation terms and recent reviews. Meet-and-greet firms that aren't the port's own can't use the terminal forecourt without paying the port's charges like anyone else.

What the port says about other parking firms: For ferry passengers the port says there are no parking facilities in the port and points to independent parking companies, naming Relyon Parking. Cruise passengers can be dropped off at the terminal, but there are no waiting areas in the port.
