Pay on the day, charged from entry, using the Pay & Display machines. Licensed by ABP to third-party operators; ABParking does not run them and tariffs are not published on the ABParking site. ABParking suggests these if a driver needs longer than a drop-off.
Cruise & Passenger Services (CPS) valet
Hand your car to CPS reception at the terminal; a driver takes it to a nearby secure compound. On return, collect your keys at the key collection point.

ABParking says CPS is the parking provider for P&O Cruises, Cunard and Princess Cruises (0345 071 3939). CPS says valet is for cruises of 3 nights and over, with self-park for 2-night cruises. No prices published on the CPS page.
Booking: ABParking long stay and Blue Badge spaces must be booked and paid for in advance for your ship and sailing date, online or on 023 8048 8870. ABParking does not publish prices on its website; the price appears when you book, and it says many dates sell out.
Blue Badge: ABParking has dedicated Blue Badge car parks next to the City and Horizon cruise terminals. Spaces are limited and must be booked and paid for in advance; there is no guarantee of a space on the day without a booking.
Valet or meet and greet: ABP does not offer valet; you park your own car and keep the keys. For P&O Cruises, Cunard and Princess Cruises, ABParking refers passengers to Cruise & Passenger Services (CPS), whose valet service takes your car from the terminal to a secure compound nearby.
Private parking firms
Off-site car parks and meet-and-greet firms are private businesses, not part of the port. Many are fine and cheaper, but check before you book: where the car is actually kept, how the transfer works and how often it runs, whether the car park has the Park Mark Safer Parking award, the firm's cancellation terms and recent reviews. Meet-and-greet firms that aren't the port's own can't use the terminal forecourt without paying the port's charges like anyone else.
What the port says about other parking firms: Southampton City Council urges cruise passengers to research third-party operators carefully before booking parking on land outside the port: read the terms, check insurance, and get the address where your car will be kept. It names ABP and Cruise & Passenger Services as the providers inside the port. ABParking says drop-off lanes are outside each terminal entrance but waiting is not allowed.
