Lift or park: which is cheaper?
Being dropped off and picked up means your driver does the trip twice each way: four journeys. This adds that up using Bristol's own charges.

No return within 30 minutes (automatic Parking Charge Notice). Temporarily relocated from 19 October to 18 December 2026 while refurbishment works are carried out: follow signs to Silver Zone and take the first left after the Lulsgate House car park (postcode BS48 3DW).
Booking: Bristol Airport says booking direct and online gives the lowest publicly available price, with a price match within 24 hours of booking. Bookings can be amended or cancelled free up to 48 hours before arrival (a £5 fee after that). Gate prices are based on a 24-hour day, pre-booked prices on full and partial calendar days.
Meet and greet: Meet & Greet (drop at Level 2 of the Multi-Storey and hand keys to reception) and Meet & Greet Premium (valet team meets you in the Drop Off & Pick Up Car Park). Cars are kept in the airport's secure on-site storage. Advance booking only.
Blue Badge: Blue Badge bays in all car parks (Level 2 of the Multi-Storey, next to the Short Stay bus stop, next to Silver Zone reception). Blue Badge holders, or people dropping them off, get up to 40 minutes in the Drop Off & Pick Up Car Park for £8.50 by scanning the badge at the exit barrier.
Electric cars: 20 EV chargers (22kW) outside the Multi-Storey Car Park, opposite the terminal, for Multi-Storey users. Pay as you go at 45p per kWh via the ChargePoint app, 24/7, first come first served.
Off-airport parking
Off-airport car parks and meet-and-greet firms are private businesses, not part of the airport. Many are fine and cheaper, but check before you book: where the car is actually kept, how the transfer works and how often it runs, whether the car park has the Park Mark Safer Parking award, the firm's cancellation terms and recent reviews. Meet-and-greet firms that aren't the airport's own can't use the terminal forecourt without paying the airport's charges like anyone else.
What Bristol Airport says: Red Routes and a no-stopping policy apply across the site; stopping to drop off or pick up on airport roads brings a £100 parking charge (£60 if paid within 14 days). Red routes on the A38 and the layby by the entrance are the responsibility of the local authority and police.
