Premium Long Stay on the official site

Booking: Newcastle Airport says pre-booking Long Stay for a day or more saves up to 60%. Prices are per calendar day or part day, can change, and a quote is only valid at the time of booking; they vary with the time of year and how far ahead you book. Stays of up to 4 hours do not need booking, and anyone who does not pre-book pays the gate rate.

Meet and greet: Premium Meet & Greet is the airport's own service: drive through the inspection booths, check the car in with a representative and walk 1 minute to check-in. The car is stored at a secure airport location and returned to the Premium Meet & Greet car park for your return.

Blue Badge: All car parks have disabled bays, but spaces cannot be reserved and standard charges apply. Display a photocopy of the badge on the windscreen; vehicles that cannot show entitlement may get a parking charge notice.

Electric cars: Fastned ultra-rapid hub at Callerton Parkway: 12 bays, up to 400kW, open 24/7, no booking. No chargers listed inside the airport car parks.

Off-airport parking

Off-airport car parks and meet-and-greet firms are private businesses, not part of the airport. Many are fine and cheaper, but check before you book: where the car is actually kept, how the transfer works and how often it runs, whether the car park has the Park Mark Safer Parking award, the firm's cancellation terms and recent reviews. Meet-and-greet firms that aren't the airport's own can't use the terminal forecourt without paying the airport's charges like anyone else.

What Newcastle International Airport says: Newcastle Airport advises using official airport car parks, or its affiliate off-site car parks Park & Fly, Bellair and Callerton, and says to research any off-site company before handing over your keys.
