Long Stay on the official site

Booking: Southampton says pre-booking gets the best prices and guarantees a space, saving up to 50% on turn-up prices for stays of more than one day. Bookings can be made up to 2 hours before arrival, subject to availability, and pre-booked cars are let in by number plate recognition.

Meet and greet: Southampton runs the only official Meet & Greet: bays in the Priority Parking area of the Short Stay car park, open 5am-10pm, with the car kept on the airport. An EV version charges the car before you return.

Blue Badge: Blue Badge holders get 30 minutes free in the Short Stay car park by having their ticket validated at customer service on exit. Standard charges apply in Pick Up and Drop Off.

Electric cars: Eight APCOA Compleo charging units on the second floor of the Short Stay multi-storey; pay the normal parking rate and use the QR code on the unit. Availability is not guaranteed. EV Meet & Greet charges your car while you are away.

Off-airport parking

Off-airport car parks and meet-and-greet firms are private businesses, not part of the airport. Many are fine and cheaper, but check before you book: where the car is actually kept, how the transfer works and how often it runs, whether the car park has the Park Mark Safer Parking award, the firm's cancellation terms and recent reviews. Meet-and-greet firms that aren't the airport's own can't use the terminal forecourt without paying the airport's charges like anyone else.

What Southampton Airport says: The airport describes its parking as the only official on-site parking and its Meet & Greet as the only official valet service at Southampton. It gives no other warning about off-airport operators on the pages checked.
