Manchester Airport has 13 official car parks and parking options. Pre-booked parking starts from £5.75 a day (Drop & Go). A lift costs £5.50 for 5 minutes to drop off, or nothing using the free option.

- Lift, free option: £0 in airport charges. Free Drop Off in JetParks 1 (M90 5AZ), with a free 24/7 shuttle bus.
- Park for 7 days, pre-booked: from £5.75 a day (Drop & Go), so from about £40.25 for the week. That's the airport's "from" price; your dates may cost more.

Lift or park: which is cheaper?
Being dropped off and picked up means your driver does the trip twice each way: four journeys. This adds that up using Manchester's own charges.

Meet & Greet
Drive to the Meet & Greet area in T2 Multi Storey East (P1), up the ramps to the roof (Level D). Hand your keys to reception and a driver parks the car on site. 1-2 minutes to the terminal.

Booking: Most official car parks are pre-book only; turn-up parking is only at T2 West Multi Storey (P3) and T3 Multi Storey (P14). The airport says prices vary with the time of year, the distance from the terminal and how far ahead you book, and a quote is only valid at the time of booking. Free cancellation up to 72 hours before arrival.
Meet and greet: Meet & Greet at Terminal 2, from T2 Multi Storey East (P1). Pre-book only, minimum 4 days. Hand your keys to reception, a driver parks the car in an on-site car park, and it is ready at reception when you return. The airport says it does not offer a separate valet service.
Blue Badge: Blue Badge holders can use the Drop-off Zone free of charge for drop-off only. The airport cannot reserve spaces for Blue Badge holders, but all car parks have signed disabled bays, including the multi-storeys next to both terminals and all JetParks car parks (free wheelchair-accessible bus). The Arrivals car park has dedicated Blue Badge spaces that cannot be pre-booked. No free or discounted Blue Badge parking tariff is published.
Off-airport parking
Off-airport car parks and meet-and-greet firms are private businesses, not part of the airport. Many are fine and cheaper, but check before you book: where the car is actually kept, how the transfer works and how often it runs, whether the car park has the Park Mark Safer Parking award, the firm's cancellation terms and recent reviews. Meet-and-greet firms that aren't the airport's own can't use the terminal forecourt without paying the airport's charges like anyone else.
